A healthier lawn, properly understood.

Healthy grass starts with healthy soil. My name is Robert Bull, and I’m the director of Oxford Garden Company. I’ll assess your lawn, explain what it needs and carry out the work with care. From your first enquiry onwards, you’ll deal directly with me.

Our own work

From mossy and uneven
to a stronger lawn.

Compaction, thin grass and a bumpy surface called for a full renovation. See the same lawn before the work and after the new grass had established.

One-off work

Start with what your lawn needs

Not every lawn is ready for a maintenance programme. One-off work is assessed and quoted separately, including materials and waste arrangements.

Scarification

Remove the right amount of thatch and surface debris. Heavy moss removal needs a carefully timed renovation.

Full lawn renovation

For lawns that need more than maintenance: address the cause, prepare the ground, then rebuild the grass.

Only need a feed, iron treatment or help with weeds? Ask about a targeted visit. Heavy renovation and levelling are not included in the annual programmes.

Caring for Oxford gardens since 2010

Every garden is different. I look at the soil, drainage, shade and everyday wear before recommending work. I use organic-based products wherever suitable, with mineral feeds or targeted treatments when needed. The aim is stronger grass and better growing conditions, not just a temporary change in colour.
